Campaigns and events have impact. On people, organizations and the world in which we live. That is why we not only look at what a project brings for our clients, but also what it requires of our planet.
Location, energy, mobility, catering, materials, but also equality and accessibility, everything counts. We make conscious choices together with our client, partners and suppliers.
Every client has different objectives and so does every project.
That is why we do not believe in one fixed sustainable approach, but in choices that suit your organization, your ambitions and the context of the project.
Does your organization have clear sustainability goals and a detailed approach? Then, where possible, we'll connect to that. Are you still looking for an even more sustainable approach? Then we'll think along feasible steps.
We recommend where to make the most profit: ecological, ssocial and governance themes. As a guide, we use the Corporate Events Sustainability Ladder. This is how we translate sustainable ambitions to strategy with practical decisions in concept, production and execution
Where possible, we choose locations that match the project's sustainability goals. We take a critical look at energy consumption, available facilities and ways to limit consumption.
We tailor catering to realistic visitor numbers and enjoy working with partners who buy locally, seasonally and, where possible, plant-based products. In this way, we limit waste and make conscious choices without sacrificing experience.
Where possible, we choose to rent, reuse or circular materials. This includes modular decor, reusable signing, recyclable printing and smart choices in stage design and decoration.
We limit transport movements by planning smartly, purchasing locally and combining suppliers. For visitors, we look at options such as cycling, public transport, organized bus transport or carpooling.
We think about waste flows beforehand and connect to the possibilities of the location. Where waste is generated, we focus on separate collection and proper processing.

You don't make sustainable choices alone. That's why we work with experts, suppliers and partners who contribute to finding better solutions. We then use the Events Sustainability Ladder and the Corporate Events Sustainability Ladder as a practical frame of reference. Kaatenco is also represented in IDEA's The Green Ambassadors.
Through the use of My Impact Tool we can make the impact of an event measurable. Themes such as CO₂ emissions, circularity, mobility, inclusion and waste are included in this impact report. This is how we make sustainability concrete and together we can determine where we can perform even better next time.
