This brand story is about bringing the public waste industry in the Netherlands together every year with one essential task. It's a story about how this industry can ensure that the world is still healthy and livable by 2050. A public task in which waste no longer exists and everyone's perception and behavior has changed to using waste as a raw material.

This two-day conference is organized every year in collaboration with one of the members of the Royal Dutch Association of Waste and Cleaning Services (the NVRD) as host. It is a combination of a General Members' Meeting, networking evening, conference, dinner and a festive ending. Every year with a highlighted theme that suits the host of that moment; from exploring borders in Heerlen to innovation in Leeuwarden and science in Nijmegen.

During the NVRD Annual Congress, challenges in the industry are discussed, and more importantly, guests are challenged and inspired to take on these challenges. With provocative themes, constructive discussions arise every year about the way to a circular economy and the role of the public waste industry in this.
